From the Desk of Jasmine

My love for sports definitely came from my father. I can still remember sitting in various bleachers and camp fire chairs watching him compete on different sports teams.  I started playing soccer when I was four and basketball at nine: although, not starting basketball sooner is probably one of my biggest regrets. 

Basketball has brought me some of my greatest friends and has taught me countless crucial life skills.  Throughout the past 8 years, I have been shaped into an outgoing, positive, bubbly, and optimistic person who feeds off the joy of others.  I truly love helping people while living a Christian lifestyle.  I also strive to push myself out of my comfort zone to make myself and those around me the best we can be.

Academically, I am planning on pursuing psychology and criminology in order to become a forensic psychologist.  I understand that getting to play basketball at the next level is truly a gift and an honor, and I hope and pray I get the opportunity to continue to at a school that not only fits my athletic, but also my academic needs.
