ABOUT BRINNA PAULSON

"Brinna is an extremely athletic and versatile guard. She has a swag to her game that is hard to come by. At 5'6", Brinna maximizes her opportunities through her explosiveness and shiftiness on both ends of the floor. She is a guard who is always looking to advance with the game and is extremely coachable and dedicated to her craft. She is always in the gym getting shots up, working with a trainer, or challenging anyone at the YMCA on the weekends. She's got an old school love for the game that is not forced or learned. Her shot can look the same from mid-range to 4 feet behind the 3 - it is extremely effortless and consistent. Although she is highly effective as a catch and shoot guard, her most impressive abilities shine with a hand in her face. She is great at being able to create space against defenders and knock down a shot or make a big play. "

FROM THE DESK OF BRINNA

"I play basketball because the dreaming never ends. I feel there is always something to work toward and there are endless paths you can take. It's easy to let something go but if you love something enough I believe you'll never get bored or think of abandoning it. After high school, I want to keep playing the sport I love and continue to enjoy every part of it. I'm looking for a program that I'll fit in just right and that will shape my life into becoming a person just like the people I look up to. I would love to be on a team with a passion for basketball and where we can bond over anything. I'm interested in psychology or sociology when it comes to majoring, and feel strongly about academics knowing they'll determine the rest of my life."
